GIS Link

I thought this website was a very helpful Google Earth guide as well as ideas for creating lesson plans. The title says it is specific to earth science lesson plans, but I thought it was beneficial for Google Earth as well as other classes.

Zillow.com

Hello Everyone

I discovered this link a few months ago. This is a national real estate site that quickly values your house and provides aerial photos from north, south, east and west perspectives. Try entering your address and then keep drilling down. Look for Birds Eye View which is composed of aerial photos from Microsoft Virtual Earth. In my experience working with local things in my area, the Microsoft site gives lower level and thus more detailed photos. I can even make out my pickup-truck parked at my mom's house on the particular day that the flyover was done.

This site will work with Mac computers but not with Safari. You must use Firefox or Netscape which are alternative browsers.
