I like the idea of documenting the life cycle of an organism by using digital photography. Great Idea. I could use this in AP Biology, the students would have a blast.
Having watched both of my children do the life cycle of the butterfly in their classroom using real butterflies, I love the idea of sharing those stages through digital photography. As well, the idea of sharing the students' artwork using Flickr is a great idea, esp. with all the evidence that giving students a virtual audience helps them take pride and ownership in their work. You commented on creating an audio file using Audacity...is this something you can add to Flickr with the photos? I think it's an amazing idea to do the audio piece, but I'm curious in wha capacity you plan to use it.
Thanks for a wonderful plan,
Erica
